I'm interested in people, myself included, on the level of how we've come to be here and now as a tiny part of
this giant organism and where we're going,
and on the level of our interactions with each other and our immediate environments.
I also like to entertain myself and others with how this giant organism always hints at its (so far) unthinkable grandeur even in a virus, and hints at itself in our senses, not just in the abstract. That we, as a species can use imagery or a sequence of sounds and silences to express/invoke a physical feeling maybe in our chest or in our whole body.
Alone and collectively.
I see technology as a beautiful, exciting and vivid part of nature. In 200 years, we might be as different from today, as we are today from chimpanzees. Or AI might terminate us. For better or worse, we are married to it and I want to be part of this possible leap. I'm currently acquiring the life skill of communicating with/through machines and digging deeper into my own psyche and emotions as a person.
I see programmable machines as valuable extensions to my thoughts and feelings and hold the potential
to further push both the conceptual
and the physical.
My years of experience as a videographer, editor, and director have eventually led me into the world of ‘digital art’.
I found myself looking for inspirations that can combine my key interests:
Image(video/illustration) – Sound(music) – Math – Technology. In 2014, I took a turn into a stranger path and I've been having fun ever since. My recent works have been explorative in the areas of 3D animation (Cinema 4D), programming and simulation (UE4),
audio-reactive visual and visual-reactive audio.

HELLO
Hi! I’m a 3D generalist, Real-time/Technical artist, and VJ.
I began as a videographer and editor in 2006, founded my studio in 2008 then branched into 3D animation in 2014.
In 2016, I co-founded Mapping Possibilities, an independent Audio-Visual collaboration-based collective in Cairo.
In 2018, I made a shift into real-time graphics and visual programming with Unreal Engine and I fell in love immediately. By the end of the year, I started working at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence as a research assistant/VR simulations developer on the Robot Common-sense Games project (RobCoG) until 2020.
I was commissioned by artist M.I.A. to produce visuals for her live shows after VJing my original content in a party in HfK Bremen in 2018.
Till present, I create visual content and graphics for M.I.A.’s various projects and join her on tours to VJ her live shows worldwide.
I’ve been fortunate to perform in events and venues such as Boiler Room, Primavera, Gröna Lund, Insomnia festival, La Gaîté Lyrique, Fusion festival, Vorspiel/Transmediale, HAU, Joyland Bali, Ceremonia Mexico, Wireless festival, among others.
Feel free to contact me for comissions, collaborations, performances, parties, workshops or just to say hi at:
